About The Company

Tanzania Meat Board is a government institution established under section 8 of the Meat Industry Act No. 10 of 2006 and was inaugurated on 14th November, 2008, by Hon. DKT John Joseph Pombe Magufuli (Mb) Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Development. In accordance with the provisions of this Act, the Tanzania Meat Board is mandated to restructure the Meat Industry, to establish a proper basis for its efficient management, to ensure provision of high quality meat products and for matters related therewith.
